Our Values at Simple Honours
📘 What This Page Offers
It’s important to me that we’re clear on the Simple Honours values and how these values shape every part of the services I offer. This guide walks through how the coaching works, what you can expect and the boundaries I hold to protect your time, energy, and experience.
I’ve put this together so you can understand what Simple Honours coaching involves before choosing to engage - with full transparency. This guide is designed to summarise the key terms and approach. If any differences pop up between this and the full Terms & Conditions, the full version will take precedence.
🙌 What We Stand For
Simple Honours is grounded in real-life growth. It’s practical, relatable, and respectful of your context and situation. The Simple Honours core values guide the approach:
Clarity and fairness in every interaction.
Respect and safety in how we work together.
Real-world impact, through tools and frameworks that empower.
🧭 How the Coaching Enrolment Works
I want every enrolment to feel well-supported. Here’s the journey in five steps:
Initial Parent Conversation We begin with a consultation - to clarify goals, discuss fit, and answer questions.
Fit Check & Alignment Together, we consider emotional readiness, expectations, and practical alignment. This includes confirming the teen is comfortable participating.
Programme Offer If everything feels right, a clear invitation to begin is provided - outlining session details, schedule, and payment structure.
Acceptance & Activation Payment You confirm the enrolment and reserve the start date by paying the Activation Payment. This marks mutual agreement and secures the space.
Begin Coaching Sessions commence on the agreed date - with tailored materials, structured support, and space for reflection and growth.
✋ Your Commitment
This is a one-on-one coaching programme designed for meaningful, personal connection. I ask participants to:
Engage honestly and respectfully.
Be present and prepared to participate.
Use provided materials thoughtfully and with respect for Simple Honours’ intellectual property.
Your commitment ensures the experience remains focused and genuinely impactful.
🔄 Payments & Cancellations
The coaching is purposefully capped to ensure personalised attention, continuity and meaningful impact.
It matters to me that the people I work with genuinely get value from the coaching - it’s why I do this work. The payment structure reflects that commitment, giving you visibility and control.
Activation Payment
Your enrolment and start date are confirmed with a NZD $499 Activation Payment. This reserves your coaching place and covers the initial planning, preparation and the first month of coaching.
If a NZD $149 Discovery Session has been held, the full $149 is credited towards the Activation Payment, reducing the amount payable to NZD $350.
You can withdraw at any point during the first month and receive a full refund of the Activation Payment.
Ongoing Monthly Payments
Following the Activation Payment, ongoing Simple Honours coaching is NZD $499 per month.
The structured curriculum runs over 12 weeks, but the coaching has no fixed end date and can continue for as long as it provides value.
Regular Parent Reviews
Throughout coaching, usually once a month, a review is held with parents to discuss progress, momentum and the changes emerging.
This provides an opportunity to reflect on how things are going and whether coaching continues to deliver the value you're looking for.
Cancel Anytime
There’s no long-term commitment. You can choose to finish the coaching at any time. As a safety net, if you feel the coaching is no longer delivering the value you expected, you can request a refund of your most recent monthly payment.
For full details, including flexibility options, see the full Terms & Conditions.
⚖️ Clear Boundaries & What We Do (and Don’t Do)
I want you to know exactly what the coaching offers and where its limits lie. Simple Honours is a personalised coaching journey for individual teens, built on years of practical insight and experience. It’s not just what I coach - it’s how the coaching guides, challenges and equips young people to thrive.
I’m confident that by the end of the programme, your teen won’t just leave with stronger study habits - they’ll carry forward a renewed sense of purpose and practical tools to sustain it.
And just as I’m clear about the focus of my work, I’m equally upfront about the scope of my support:
I offer structured tools, emotional insight, and practical frameworks for real-life growth.
I don’t offer medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
I am not a counselling service.
Success depends on many factors - including personal effort, context, and openness to change.
Once enrolled, participation involves mutual accountability, clear boundaries, and shared respect.
